Questions about selling digital products
What can I sell with boxed.ink?
Files up to 500 MB: documents (PDF, ebooks, spreadsheets), ZIP archives, images, audio, video, presets, fonts and design files. You can also sell private access through a link: Notion template, online course, community. Programs (.exe, .apk…) are refused: put them in a ZIP if needed.
How much does boxed.ink take on my sales?
Nothing. boxed.ink takes no commission on your sales: only Stripe fees apply, depending on your country and the buyer's card.
How does the buyer get their purchase?
Right after paying, they land on a page where they download their file or open their link, and they get the same access by email. A file can be downloaded 10 times per purchase.
What happens if I refund a sale?
You refund from Stripe. On a full refund, the buyer's access to the file or link is cut automatically.
How many sales before Creator pays off?
For a €20 product, a platform taking 10% + $0.50 per sale (about €2.43) costs more than Creator's €9.99 from 5 sales a month. This only compares the platform commission, as payment fees should be compared separately.
